The Hull to Harwich Festival will be the biggest event of the Millennium Festival of
Cycling in the Eastern Region. It is an 'open day' on National Cycle Route 1 through
Suffolk and other eastern counties.
There are no fixed start or finish points and no suggested distance to be covered. The
aim is to raise awareness of the National Cycle Network and to encourage short, but
enjoyable, journeys along it. With this in mind, a series of events and stamping points
are being lined up along the route including jazz bands, morris dancers, village fetes, a
photograph exhibition etc.
Events and stamping points will include Woodbridge, Hasketon, Bredfield, Wickham
Market, Dallinghoo , Easton, Framlingham, Peasenhall, Halesworth, Becks Green, Ringsfield
